What is a food that you loved as a kid but thought otherwise as an adult?
So one food I loved as a child that I can’t deal with as an adult is ramen noodles. So anytime my cousins and I were together, my cousins and I would tear it down and season them gourmet style. We would eat as often as our parents would let us. Now, as an adult, I can’t enjoy Korean or Japanese cuisine. I wouldn’t say I like the smell of ramen. So I hate that I overdid it as a kid. There are so many cool restaurants now that mix ramen with other things, but I can’t enjoy it.
If you could know the answer to one question about the future, what would you ask?
I would like to know what my kids are like assuming I have them. I am a very interesting individual. I was that way as a child too. I wonder if they will give me a headache like I gave my parents a headache. Not in a bad way but in a “she’s been here before way.” I’m a little bit nervous, but we move.
Cook or be cooked for?
So I like to cook, but I love eating out, and so quite naturally, the answer is to be cooked for. That’s kinda bad. My family owns a restaurant, so I have the cooking gene, but there is too much involved in cooking, like dishes.
Are you an early bird or night owl?
I would say I’m definitely an early bird. I wake up at about five and head out to the gym; I get my day started and wrap it up by 10:00 pm at the latest. But I am able to stay up till 1-2 in the morning and still get up at five the next morning for my regular routine and keep pushing without coffee. So while I can do both, I am definitely leaning toward being solely an early bird. My night owl days were in college.
After traveling, do you unpack immediately, or do you wait until later?
So I’m the type of person that feels like my suitcase and clothes need to kinda marinate a little bit. Oh my god, that sounds so gross… Not in a gross way. I need to decompress when I get home from traveling. Decompressing for me is sometimes a week and a half to two weeks, which is probably not the best thing. It’s not my best attribute. I’m not one to unpack immediately. It’s too responsible.
Kids these days will never understand _____________.
Kids these days will never understand having to wait until 9:00 pm to use their phone without being charged. Now everything is unlimited, and it’s insane. But I literally remember waiting till 9:01 – 9:02 pm to call my friends to talk about school for the day without my parents being charged for minutes. They have it so easy!
What is one cool feature you would add to your dream home?
One cool feature I’d add to my home is having, like, the Ivac system built into the walls in my home, so, like, maybe in the kitchen, in the living room, and then the bathroom. So when I’m sweeping, I don’t have to go and get the dustpan. I can just really sweep it into this motion sensor vacuum that’s like in the wall and take care of sweeping. That would be so nice to have.
