What is a food that you loved as a kid but thought otherwise as an adult?

Ottter Pops. Poncho Punch was my favorite. Don’t get me wrong, I still love the flavor, but consuming frozen sugar water isn’t as enjoyable as it used to be.

If you could know the answer to one question about the future, what would you ask?

How many grandkids will I have?

Cook or be cooked for?

I honestly appreciate both. My wife is an amazing cook, and there’s something special about a meal made with love. That being said, I love to collect new gadgets, and experiment with different cooking methods; BBQ, smoking, frying, griddling, sous vide – you name it!

Are you an early bird or night owl?

I used to be much more of an early bird, but as the kids get older and more self-sufficient, working from home allows me to be more laz… I mean, more flexible in my sleep schedule!

After traveling, do you unpack immediately, or do you wait until later?

Definitely unpack immediately. I like to get it out of the way, get dirty clothes in the wash, settle in, and get back to ‘normal.’

Do you buy your Halloween costume or make it?

Does face makeup count as “making it”?

Kids these days will never understand _____________.

What it was like to talk on a phone with a cord. We used to have a handset with like a 30ft. cord that could reach from the kitchen into the living room. It innevitabley ended up in knots and needed to be replaced every 6 months.

What is one cool feature you would add to your dream home?

An infinity pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
